Freelance Journalism Trainer
From first year college 'til now, I inspire and teach young student journalists on how to create a cohesive output and communicate as a team in Collaborative Desktop Publishing. With four-year experience in the field, I am passionate to train journalists to be a well-rounded media person in the field. Aside from CDP, I also teach sports reporting, where became my strongest suit in all writing categories in journalism. Now, I am proud to boast my track record as some of student who went under my training went to the regionals.

Editor-in-Chief, CLSU Collegian
As the Chief Editor of the university's official student publication, I spearheaded many activities and issue releases under my administration. Also, I got the chance to work with the finances and be in the frontlines to represent the publication in and outside of the campus. Lastly, I supervised all the university and nationwide stories with the new editorial board, regular staff, and probationary writers for the whole academic year.

Being the head of the layout department of the school publication for two year, I have proven my skills in page design. I coordinated new probationary and regular staffers by giving hundreds of hours of preparations in creating newspaper issues and publishing campus and local news stories across night, weekends and holidays. I also helped the publication to be recognized as one of the best campus paper in the country for two consecutive years.

With the passion in sports writing and graphic design, one of my mentor assigned me to this role to his online National Sports Writing Cup in the midst of the pandemic. Being a contributor outside school publication made me accountable in favoring to the client's wants and needs in a design.

For a week in the woods in transect walks in search for herpetofauna, I have assisted 40+ third-year BS Bio students to assess the vertebrate fauna for an off-campus activity at Gabaldon Eco-Park. Throughout those times, I taught juniors to set-up mist nets for volant mammals and birds.
